To assist Cook County residents in obtaining unclaimed funds, the Cook County Treasurer's
Office ("CCTO") posts information related to uncashed checks issued by the CCTO
in the regular course of its business.
You may search by 14-digit Property Index Number (PIN) or by Payee Name for information
regarding checks that remain uncashed for one (1) or more years following the date
of their issuance by the CCTO.
Note: You may only search this site for uncashed checks issued by the CCTO in the
regular course of its business. If you believe that you are the payee of an uncashed
check issued by a Cook County agency other than the CCTO, please
click here for an internet directory of Cook County governmental agencies
and visit the website of the appropriate agency in order to obtain further information
regarding the procedure(s) for recovering those funds.
If you believe that you are legally entitled to an uncashed check, please e-mail
us by clicking here. You can also mail your
request to:
