Crain’s Chicago Business

The residential properties with the largest delinquent tax bills that were sold at the Annual Tax Sale that ended May 11, 2018 include a home in River North and a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired house in River Forest, Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

In most high-priced cases, the homeowners will eventually pay the delinquent tax bill, Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas predicted. “They'll pay it at the last minute.”
