Cook County Treasurer Says More than 8,500 homeowners are due property tax refunds

Treasurer Pappas tells homeowners how they can search for available property tax refunds and missing tax exemptions during an interview on NBC 5 News Today on Channel 5/WMAQ.

Pappas also describes her initiative to remove homes in predominantly African American areas from the Tax Sale list, an effort called Black Houses Matter.
