The last day to pay tax year 2009 delinquent property taxes to prevent a property from being included within the 2009 Cook County Annual Tax Sale was July 18, 2011, which was the last business day prior to the commencement of the tax sale. 2009 property tax payments will not be accepted after July 18 on parcels scheduled to be offered at the Tax Sale that begins Tuesday, July 19, 2011.

After July 21, 2011, taxpayers who would like information concerning whether their 2009 property taxes were sold at the tax sale and information on how to redeem their taxes must contact the Cook County Clerk's Office at www.cookcountyclerk.com or 312.603.5656.
